Yi Wang

M.A. Student

STANFORD UNIVERSITY

Yi Wang (王屹) is an M.A. student in Chinese Archaeology. Her research interests focus on population interaction and exchange networks during the Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age, with particular interests in craft production and zooarchaeology. She plans to apply residue analysis and use-wear analysis to reconstruct ancient production and consumption practices at Stanford University. Yi received her B.A. with honors in Archaeology from New York University, where her thesis focused on localized ritual practices beyond the capital during the late Shang period.
